Hashem Restaurants: authenticity of the past, prestige of the present. The story began over a century ago, in 1910 in the Ajami district of Jaffa, the vibrant heart of Palestine, where our grandfather Saber founded this enduring legacy and launched a journey of success carrying the authenticity of the past and the prestige of the present. In 1956, the late Hajj Hashem Al-Turk laid the cornerstone of the first Hashem branch in Amman, in the old downtown, combining authenticity, simplicity, and quality in serving beloved traditional dishes, becoming a landmark of the old city and a draw for tourists and visitors from around the world. It has hosted prominent figures, including His Majesty King Abdullah II, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, and Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah, as well as many artists and notable Arab and international personalities. The journey of success has continued across generations, preserving the time-honored legacy and generous hospitality while serving the finest food with the highest quality and fair prices, keeping Hashem an icon of Arab dining and a symbol of authenticity that knows no borders.
